sigh...

I don't care if this is a 'dirty' mix, this is a pretty half assed attempt at making a remix.

The song has no real structure, if its dirty, make it dirty. Not jumbled.

The only thing I can actally give you points for is effort, and originality. Try and make your music more enjoyale to listen to...

a dirty remix is a jumbled one fool. geez, where have you been. and this isnt half assed, i spend an entire weekend [30+ hours] making this so shut up. over 300 tracks and patterns is a lot to throw in.

also, your stuff isnt that great either so dont be so critical if you cant back it up. i do appreciate constructive critizism, but you dont have anything constructive to say because you dont know what youre talking about!

hey man.

i thought id leave a review.

This song jumps straight into it.
I thought that the song would be very iffy because of the cheap techno drums and the obvious presets, but..so far its pretty good.
i like the melody.
there is one thing bugging me though.
you have some kind of bell instrument going that is kind of throwing the song off...cause your pitch-flanging it.
by now that little fast hi hat is kinda gettin on my nerves...maybe turn it down?
This doesnt really fall under 'trance'...

id say more of 'dance'.
it has a large techno influence, but its very danceable.
kudos on that.
This melody is very addictive.
the fade off at the end made me pretty dissapointed.
i would have put a little more effort into the ending.

my summary:
quatlity: Some of the instruments needed to be turned up and whatnot, but pretty decent there.

arrangment: repetitve, but thats what dance is.

insutruments: it didnt seem like you made one yourself, so not to much effort right there.

good job overall.

well i wouldn't really consider anything preset because the one thing that was "preset" was highly modified. I also built apon it to ake it vary from the original.

The bells weren't pitch flanged so not sure what you are refering to. As for the rest of the song it was all original stuff. I like the ending, but you are entitled to your own opinion.

Anyway thanks for the review with a lot of info! It helps!

the begginning is very unique man, i honestly never seen these notes coming. The synth is a little...iffish though.
y'now ive been meaning to review your shit and say that i hated the hell out of that clap, but i never got around to it.
so far its the only part that i hate.
The retro beat is...well...retro.
I think when you brought the melody in it could have more impact. Like say, a boom or something.
when i make music, i think its all good and then my bro comes down stairs and says 'dude i can barely hear the open hat'...
same here.

If this is supposed to be for clubs, i wouldnt have so many breaks.
You have the beat goin for roughly more than 30 or 40 bars, but then you just cut out.

this si CLUB man! the only time you should stop the beat is when the melody is coming up.

but then you stoppped it again after that, which kinda bugged me...
this song is very trbly and shit, maybe its jsust your speakers and everything.

so, my summary:

synths: very impressive. i would kill if i could make synths like that.
arrangment: needs a bit of work...seems like your too used to making trance. the beat cant stop for too long.
quality: good job. no compressing problems or ANYTHING.

overall:

8/10

and i love that.

whenever i make drum n bass, i have the mind set that it needs to be FAST.
but this song is only going at about 160-170 tempo, when mine are going at 195 min.

w/e, that sounds good, cause then its danceable.
nice, simple drums, and simple breaks...etc.
but it fits so well!
the Acid synth that you used is very suitable for the name. Its punchy, and when the high note slides down to the low note, its isnt punchy.
its almost like you use 2 synths for it.
i doubt you did, but i ahve my cheaper ways of working things :P

The FX also fit DAMNED well, since the horn reminds me of 'warning'. The little indutrial hits of the FX that you have remind me of a gritty, hard fight.
I wish that i still had my 12 inch subs hooked up to my computer man....then i could judge you on how well u did the bass :P
