i had to DL it to listen to it....

that made me a sad panda.

but, now to the song.
sorry, but a little too happy for my liking. the only kind of happy music that i like is happy hardcore.
and this sint really hardcore.
the quality of this song is kinda bugging me...it seems a little low.
but i like the main lead, actually.
the insutrmen has a little 'twang' feel to it, and its nice and buggy.
but work on the drums some more. maybe the drums are awesome and the quality is pulling it down?
i dunno

but i didnt hear an open hi hat in there anywhere...

but anyways,

good song, very original, but kind of overused FX (IE: master FX filtering down) btw, great song, cant wait till you make the full thing!

i sense future skill.

the begginning to me, was very....excepting.
good.
but i hear a little D'cota in there which, in my opinion, you kinda over powered.
it was good, just needs to be a little quieter.
the song was quiet up until the melody.
wow.
great meloy with the bells! but in my opinion, im a drummer, so the drums need to be banging! expecially in a dance tune! make sure the kick has a clicky sound to it and that the clap is nice and smooth.
The diversity in this song overwhelms me.

this song is actually very, very good. But, you should try to make your own synths :P

i am digging this track man. good work, and that melody bell synth almost made me shit myself.
i like it alot.

so heres a few things you need to work on.

1: turn down synths, turn up drums. drums need to be more affective.
2: A better progression. i couldnt tell if the song was falling down or building up half the time. make a it a little apparent.
3: check out some ideal trance/techno/dance people in the AP that could help you out. check out their styles.

meh.
i dont compress my songs, to be honest.
i turn down the main volumne a little over half, and then i adjust the volume of the trk accordingly (cause i know ill have space) and then i have not limiting and ruining of sounds or synths, and then its a nice, pretty sound.

try that sometime.
as for the song in itself (i wont rag on you since it was done kind of....iffy as to comressing) the main string sounds nice.
very nice, actually.
the changing bassline trick is very common tho, but it works very nicely here tho.
this song is full of diversity, and yes, clearly a dance trk.
The kick was too damne soft.
turn down the synths, add a closed hi hat or something on the same times the kick hits to give it a click.
The octave lead was almost seen coming type thing, but hell, im not gonna be too fussy.
there. good song, simple, but good.

now as for the compressing part....
i think most of your trouble may come from your bassline, drums (mainly clap and kick) and the main leads.

fool around with those sum more.

i always noticed that on every thing you put a massive reverb.
can be good, but also may take away the realizim, but this is a VERY realistic revreb, so its cool.
This is a really nice break, that you have ater the tympani parts.
now that the beat breaks in...
i always have an issue with your snare, for some reason.
im a snare drummer in a band, and i know, for a fact, i woldnt be playing that quietly.
so just turn that up a bit...
For some reason i think that during the breaks, or something with halftiming it, you could put some hammered tubuler bells, just to add power, and foundation.
This, is, of course your greatest song, and it has completely blown me away, but, hell, im a nit picker :P

Weird, On this one i actually got good feedback on the snare, except from you.
Oh well, First of all, I am honored :p

I dont have any decent samples of tubular bells, and the ones i download wouldnt be legal, or good.

-Im glad you actually liked the realism on this song, as that was what i focused mostly on, and the fact that it should be a soundtrack was my priorities.

i thought id throw in my 2 cents.

great work, im not too sure if you gradually speed it up when it hits the main melody, it proably doesnt, btw, im paranoid, and i try to listen to EVERYTHING.

the synth is very classic, and very well immitated (if b0unc3 did it for you tho i would eat you and then lose all respect for you...lol) and about the begginning....

the drums were weird, and to be honest, when i first heard this (i heard it b4 it got no 1 on the front page) i thought that it would suck (the begginging drum roll was weird, man) but then it started to pick up.

the first synths and the DIST bassline really sounded too b0unc3 like tho. and it, to be honest, sounded too damned empty.
but it gets good...
i also noticed melody tweaks in the notes.

very nice touch.

great work, ill see looking foreward to more.

The main synth WAS the same synth b0unc3 used, but the only thing he did was tell me how to make it. For anyone who's interested. (In Vangaurd): Turn off first 2 osc and put a bi-saw on the 3rd. Slightly detune the lfo. That's the only hint's i'll give. I thought the drumroll in the beginning gave the song some personality, to tell the truth. Everyone said it was their favorite part besides the main lead. Rolling toms are coooollll man.

saw ya didnt have a review for this one.

so here ya go.
the notes are soundin kind of iffy...cause its playin 12 beats in a round and not 16...
the arragment could use work. the strings are nice, but as of course, try making it a little more even. the notes could have changed, and maybe ou could have added a hip hop bassline in there.
nice song, the drums are nice and very tribal sounding. theres a little tom sound that i would only use for jungle trks.
doesnt really fit in.

the little gaps between the notes are....weird, to be honest. it makes the song too obvious. like you know xactly whats onna happen next.
try changin that up dude.

anyways, good trk, but a lot to improve on!

this is one of those songs where it takes a bunch of fucked up sounds and it makes a nice beat out of it...

if im hearnig things right, im hearing a slight reverb on the master controller. mm?
I think that it cold have had a little bit of a melody, instead of a bunch of ambient sounds man, though.
i think some of your better sounds come from you screwin around :P
